Like making the leap from technically trained engineer to manager and from manager to facilitator and coach of leadership development. Even going back to my early years, leaving small-town rural life in pursuit of higher education and a corporate career, I had people to support and challenge me. That—plus talent and hard work—is what allowed me to thrive at MIT and Intel and as a parent and member of the community.
